METALZONE 666 - 95/100

"A concept album about good and evil with guest as singer and musicians. Some heavy guitars sometimes close to Thrash attack close to Lethal, Iced earth, Metal Church.. the rest beeing pretty Heavy 'Dio, Majesty, Helloween'... with melodies in the voice. Kicks your butt, you will headbang !

DECIBELGEEK - 7/10

"What would you do if you could cross Judas Priest with Iron Maiden
Distant Past manage to impress me with the strong heads on their shoulders. Making a concept album is always a bold thing to do, especially for a lesser known band, but I think they handle themselves well on Rise of the Fallen which makes the album one that I don’t think I’ll forget anytime soon."

DANGERDOG - 3.5/5

"The heavy power metal is pretty cool. A driving rhythm section, twin guitar harmonies, epic guitar solos. Melody comes through in the arrangements. caught my attention. Listen yourself!"
